£28,800pa, S60 area, Permanent position, full training provided, retention bonuses, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, fantastic career development opportunities, pension, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime.

Due to business growth and an increasingly healthy order book for the remainder of 2024 and moving into 2025, we are delighted to be seeking an experienced Moulder to join our client based in the S60 area of Rotherham. As a Moulder, you will be reporting into the Finishing Supervisor and will be responsible for working as part of a small close-knit team in a prestige environment.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Heating ceramic moulds to required temperatures.
  • Operating robots to apply slurries.
  • Using hand and power tools.
  • Operating Furnaces/Kilns as required.
  • Assembling moulds to ensure availability for the casting process.
  • Using machinery to clean moulds.
  • Complete required documents to record testing.

The successful Moulder will be required to:

  • Interpret customer requirements from job cards and drawings.
  • Show a keen interest in their development and progression, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.
  • Work safely to comply with strict health and safety policies.

This role would suit someone with experience as Moulder, Mould Maker, Ceramic Mould Maker or Moulding Operative, Foundry Operative, Assembly Operative or Production Operative with experience in a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment. Our client would also like to hear from Engineering Graduates looking to gain their first step in their career.

  • 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days over 5 years.
  • Currently on an AM/PM shift pattern including Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm & Friday 5am - 1pm, Monday - Thursday: 2pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm- 9pm.
