Overview:
Under the supervision and direction of the Head of Finance & Business Services to process all accounting transactions, maintain accounting records and produce management accounts. Administer the ID account, payroll, company statutory returns and prepare payment schedules for processing.
Key accountabilities:
- Process all accounting transactions in accordance with the company's processes and procedures
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Nominal ledger
- Cash book
- Accurately maintain all accounting records
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Fixed asset register
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Stock valuations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Prepare accounting reports
- Trial balance
- Profit and loss
- Balance sheet
- Undertake credit control
- Administer the ID account
- Upload invoices
- Prepare monthly reports and reconciliation
- Process payroll
- Maintain HR related records
- Provide reports on hours, absences and other metrics
- NEST pension administration
- Prepare payment schedule for approval / action by Head of Finance & Business Services in line with working capital policies
- Purchase ledger

- Maintain the cash flow forecast
- Manage processing on ongoing contracted services and utilities
- Prepare all statutory returns

Requirements:
- Experience of managing costings
- A good understanding and experience of ISO 9001
- A good understanding and experience of BRCGS
Qualifications:
- By experience
- AAT or CIMA qualified preferred
