Worksop Based, 6 month Temp Contract

39 Hrs per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and 8.30am - 3.30pm on Fridays

Circa £16 per hour

We are currently looking for a Plater/fabricator for a 6 month Temporary Contract with our client in Worksop to carry out the fabrication of Heavy Steel Products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Working from drawings
  • Plating and fabricating to a high standard
  • Checking tool's dimensions and precision measuring instruments
  • Working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Adhering to Quality and HSE Standards and policies

Qualifications and Skills for the Plater / Fabricator role:

  • Previous plating/fabricating experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • A team player
  • Organised, focused and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work
  • Understanding and appreciation of health and safety
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Working Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and 8.30am - 3.30pm on Fridays
  • Overtime paid after 39 hours
