A permanent position for a Field Service Engineer with experience of repairing and maintaining mechanical handling equipment. This is a regular days position based out of Hull and attending customers' sites throughout the HE postcodes.
Managing your own diary and reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will attend customers' sites to diagnose hydraulic, electrical or mechanical faults, repair on site if possible or arrange further action if necessary.
Clear and professional communication with customers is essential as well as liaising with and advising internal and external colleagues to ensure smooth resolution of issues.
Requirements:
- You must have a stable work history that shows thorough understanding and experience of maintaining plant and mechanical handling equipment, although this client is willing to look at recently qualified candidates who are ready for a permanent career.
- IT literate and driving licence essential.
Benefits:
- Up to £35,000 p/a depending on experience and qualifications
