The predicted salary is between 36000 - 54000 £ per year.

Reporting into the Drawing Office Manager, the CAD Design Technician will be involved with the design of machines and structural supports for a variety of sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Produce mechanical component and assembly drawings
  • Produce structural steelwork drawings and 3D models
  • Compile BOMs
  • Liaise with Sales and Production departments
  • Attend site when required to assist with site surveying

The CAD Design Technician must have a HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and have manufacturing knowledge. They must have intermediate 3D CAD exposure to Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge. Mechanical and Structural Engineering experience is also required to be considered for the role.
