We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical fitter who has worked with plant hire machinery. Our client hires out plant equipment to the construction and agriculture industry. You will be joining a very established company within the industry where you will be looking after plant hire equipment and machinery ranging from small air compressors to dumper trucks and excavators.
The successful candidate will be required to work at the local branch and also on site at customers' premises, so a full driving licence is required for this role as there will be an element of travel.
Responsibilities:
- To repair, service and inspect plant equipment and machinery both on customer's sites and within the depot.
- Service, repair and locate faults within equipment adhering to manufacturers' recommendations and guidelines.
- Follow company procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance to ISO9001 quality standards.
- Carry out PUWER (Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations) & LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
Experience:
