Bench Joiner Outskirts of York, £30 – £35k DOE, permanent, 40 hrs per week, flexible hours Skilled Bench Joiner is required for a bespoke furniture manufacturer on the outskirts of York. Working with a variety of woods, including soft and hard woods, you will be responsible for producing high quality, bespoke products in a workshop environment. The successful applicant will have significant wood working experience, strong attention to detail, take pride in their work and have a desire to create bespoke furniture to a high standard. The role: Producing bespoke one-off and small batch products to customer requirements Working with hard and soft woods Reading and working to manufacturing drawings unsupervised Working to high quality standards Using a range of hand tools and operating machinery and saws Working to production targets Working in line with health and safety standards The Person will: Have confident bench joinery experience in a quality driven environment Be able to read and work to drawings Work as an enthusiastic and flexible member of the team Be organised and methodical, paying attention to detail Be reliable with a good record of attendance and timekeeping Be professional, hard-working and conscientious with a …
