The Role
We are delighted to be supporting our client, a wonderful business in the aviation sector in their search for a Stores Assistant to join their friendly and busy Materials department. This role supports the operational flow of their workshop by ensuring that all stock materials are managed efficiently and accurately. Reporting to the Materials Team Leader, you will work within a small team and play a key role in maintaining smooth processes and stock readiness for production.
- Receiving incoming deliveries, checking against the purchase order, unpacking and booking in against airworthiness certification. Reporting discrepancies should they occur.
- Locating and movement of goods after receipt, packaging in accordance with company procedures.
- Packaging customer outgoing units for shipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Loading and offloading vehicles.
- Issuing of materials to the production team for builds.
- Preparing parts to be sent for repair.
Requirements
