Our client is looking to appoint a UX/UI Designer on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will play a key role in designing intuitive, effective, and engaging digital interfaces across our client’s eCommerce platforms. Embedded in the product team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, technical stakeholders, brand teams, and data specialists to create experiences that drive performance, reflect brand individuality, and meet user needs. Experience of designing within the constraints of the Shopify ecosystem is desirable. This is a full-time position working a 37.5-hour week and our client offers hybrid working.

General duties to include:

  • Working closely with the Brand MDs, Insights and data teams to understand user behaviour, conversion challenges, and journey drop-offs.
  • Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and identify areas of improvement.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs for web and mobile eCommerce experiences.
  • Adapt and apply different visual languages and interaction styles across multiple brands.
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, brand owners, digital marketers, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
  • Use both qualitative insights and quantitative data (e.g., user feedback, heatmaps, A/B test results) to iterate on and improve designs.
