We are working with a growing manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Technical Administrator to support, manage, control and report accordingly on project documentation delivery. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and methodical administrator with a keen eye for detail and be a strong computer user, particularly in Word and Excel. The working week is Monday-Thursday with week 1 Friday off and week 2 Friday working 4 hours. The working hours are flexible starting between 07:00-09:00 and finishing between 16:15-18:15 Monday-Thursday, same start time on the Friday worked but finishing between 11:00-13:00.
Responsibilities of Technical Administrator:
- Coordination of on time project documentation in line with project requirements.
- Providing and applying the appropriate project documentation knowledge to the project team and client.
- Coordinating suppliers and internal project team members as required in order that documentation schedules are achieved and in line with equipment delivery and project commercial milestones.
- Collaborating with technical staff to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
Skills and experiences required of Technical Administrator:
- Effective communication and people management skills is extremely important.
- Must understand, respect, and be able to manage the appropriate balance of customer expectations and business needs.
- Shall have robust organisational skills in that project objectives and priorities are managed appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential requirements required for internal and external correspondence.
- Knowledge of engineering procedures and processes.
- A minimum of 2 years positive track record in a similar environment.
