Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Estimator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong construction estimating knowledge who enjoys working closely with project and contracts teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in enquiry reviews, detailed take-offs, and the preparation of estimates ready for submission, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication throughout the process. This position is full-time from the Sandwich office. Alternatively, you can work from the Kings Hill site which will require visiting the Sandwich office one day per week. You must have access to your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Support tender submissions
  • Review enquiries
  • Produce detailed material take-offs
  • Liaise between project teams and contracts managers to ensure smooth handovers
  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven estimating skills
  • Proven knowledge of construction estimating (timber frame experience preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing sales handovers
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and other project management tools
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
