Our client is a fast growing, service-based company supporting the butchery, hospitality, packaging, processing, and medical sectors across the UK. They provide engineering support, servicing, breakdowns and equipment solutions for food-related operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key stage of its growth and development. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. A company van, fuel card, tools and equipment are provided. Responsibilities of Catering Engineer * Service, maintenance, repairs and installation of all catering kitchen equipment. Including but not limited to; Combi Ovens, Dish & Glass Washers, Fryers, Griddles, Fridges, Freezers, Blast chillers, Walk-in chillers and Freezers and more * Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites. * Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise equipment downtime. * Provide customers with technical advice, training and guidance on the safe and correct operation of equipment. * Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately while ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements. Skills and experiences required of Catering Engineer * CCN1, CCCN1, COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5 * Gas Registered/Safe (Natural & LPG) * F-Gas certified * Relevant Electrical Experience (18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds Electrics) * HVAC-R/F-Gas Experience * Experience working with Rational Combi Ovens - SCC & iCombi Pro (Electric & Gas) * Experience working with Fridges, Freezers, Blast chillers, Walk-in chillers and Freezers * Experience working with warewashing equipment * Experience working with commercial catering equipment * COMCAT 4 is not essential but would be beneficial * Full Driving License Only suitable candidates will be directly contacted about this position, and we will not store or process the data of candidates in any way unless consent has been obtained
