Working for a dedicated supplier and distributor of mechanical and electronic instrumentation for pressure, temperature and level measurement This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic sales professional who enjoys building new business relationships, developing customer accounts and contributing to the continued growth of a successful engineering company. The successful candidate will proactively identify new opportunities, generate sales leads and build long-term relationships with customers through telephone and email communication. Due to the location of this client, you must have access to transport. Key Responsibilities * Proactively generate new business through outbound telephone sales and prospecting * Identify and develop new sales opportunities across a range of industries * Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise repeat business * Generate sales leads and convert opportunities into profitable orders * Prepare quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities * Process sales and purchase orders as required * Maintain accurate customer records using the company's CRM system (full training provided) * Work closely with colleagues across sales, purchasing and customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction * Contribute towards achieving individual and company sales targets * Support continuous sales growth while maintaining healthy profit margins Skills and experience required * Previous experience in B2B sales within the instrumentation industry is essential, ideally selling to OEM customers * A proven track record of developing new and existing business opportunities * Excellent telephone sales, communication and negotiation skills * Confidence in cold calling and building rapport with new customers * A positive, enthusiastic and resilient approach * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) * The ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a team * A willingness to learn technical products and solutions Salary & Benefits * Competitive basic salary (dependent upon experience) * Quarterly performance bonus in line with company bonus scheme (following successful completion of probation) * 20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (pro rata where applicable) * Full product and CRM training * Opportunity to develop your career within a growing and successful business * Friendly, supportive and professional working environment.
