The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
In this role, you will be attending site meetings as necessary and sit within the design team. The successful candidate will coordinate the link between site, main contractor requirements/internal teams to develop the design and technical information with the office team. Working on various high rise residential schemes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Typically putting together the packages required for taking stage 3 and 4 designs to an installed stage 5+. This is an office-based position working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of the MEPH project requirements for the building safety act/building control.
- Attending teams and site meetings with the main contractor and wider design team.
- Assisting to put together design packages, including technical submittals, building control packages, monitoring design production against programme.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of designs with other building services.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Participate in project meetings where necessary and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members.
Requirements:
- Technical experience as either a design engineer or project coordinator.
- Understanding of the building regulations.
- Proven experience within the building services sector site or office based.
- Proficiency in office suite.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and regulations.
- Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
