We are seeking an experienced and proactive Estimator to join our growing client. You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate and competitive tenders for projects involving land remediation, bulk earthworks, and minor civil engineering.
You will work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm. The location of this role is not fixed as our client has projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and assess incoming tender documentation, including specifications, drawings, surveys, and contract terms.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions in collaboration with operational, technical, and commercial teams.
- Engage with clients, consultants, supply chain partners, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and gather necessary information.
- Maintain a strong awareness of market rates, subcontractor pricing, and industry trends.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, ground conditions, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and assess project risks and opportunities.
- Relevant qualifications in construction, civil engineering, or quantity surveying (desirable).
- Experience with ASTA Programme managing software (desirable).
