Our client is an expanding and successful energy consultancy, working with nation-wide corporate, industrial and commercial clients. Consultancy services include gas, electric and water contract negotiation, contract management, energy reporting, billing validation and invoice recharging.
Key responsibilities for the Billing Executive include:
- Obtain bills from supplier portals, emails, over the phone, and other sources.
- Validate both EDI and paper bills for all suppliers and utility types, including gas, electricity, water, heat, MOP, and other commodities.
- Upload PDF copy bills as required by client.
- Raise billing queries with suppliers and see through to resolution.
- Investigate and respond to internal and external queries.
- Review and update tasks.
- Spot inefficiencies with systems and processes and suggest changes or developments.
- Attend meetings with clients or suppliers where required.
- Prepare missing bill reports and work with suppliers to obtain missing bills, including historic bills.
