Our energy division is growing again, and we are recruiting for a Senior QS with NEC4 experience, to join the team. The first project would be to deliver a large civil engineering contract in Oxfordshire. Works comprise of RC structures, roads, drainage, paving, steel frame and exterior cladding. This role would be site based, reporting to a visiting Managing QS. We are open to receiving applications either from individuals seeking permanent employment or contractors working on a self-employed basis.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Valuations
- Remeasurement of drawings and installed quantities
- Change Control
- Subcontractor Procurement
- Subcontractor Payments
- Monthly Commercial Reporting
- CVR's
- Cash Flow Forecasts
- Updating Risk Register
- Dispute Resolution
- Final accounts and audits
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience
- CSCS
- Good working knowledge and understanding of NEC4 contracts
