With over 1,000 employees and a £150m turnover and due to continued success and new Framework awards, we are looking to strengthen our Engineering Team with the appointment of a Civil Design Engineer. IDS, Trant's internal design team, are involved in all phases of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction support and are instrumental in providing technical support across the business as a whole.
The Role The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering and will be joining our multidisciplined Innovation, Design & Solutions (IDS) department working on the design of projects covering, but not limited to the following: · Water treatment · Water distribution and storage · Wastewater recycling · Flood Defence
The Senior Civil Design Engineer will report to the Head of Discipline - Civil as part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers working primarily on Trant's UK Water Industry Frameworks. They will manage multi-discipline design interfaces and integration of the Civil design elements to deliver fit-for-purpose engineering solutions and lead tasks on a major project or lead several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
