The Graduate Site Electrical Engineer will support the delivery of electrical engineering activities on municipal, industrial process, and water projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of LV systems, lighting, power distribution, and control equipment.
- Support the supervision of subcontractors and site electricians, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.
- Assist senior engineers with the commissioning and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to perform functional tests and record results accurately.
- Support troubleshooting and minor fault-finding activities under guidance.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities and understand operational requirements of installed systems.
- Gain practical experience in interpreting design documents and schematics.
- Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Learn and adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures on site.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and following safe work practices.
- Ensure electrical works are compliant with UK standards (BS7671/IET Wiring Regulations).
- Help prepare commissioning reports, test certificates, and other documentation.
- Stakeholder Support:
