Our Energy Division at Trant Engineering Ltd is growing and we’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS who knows their way around NEC4 contracts and thrives on complex civil engineering projects. You’ll be joining a business with real momentum, working on a major infrastructure scheme involving RC structures, roads, drainage, steel frame and cladding.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing valuations & CVRs
- Remeasuring works and tracking installed quantities
- Handling change control and variations
- Procuring and managing subcontractors
- Overseeing subcontractor payments
- Producing monthly commercial reports
- Forecasting cash flow and managing risk
- Supporting dispute resolution
- Driving projects through to final account
What we’re looking for
- Experience as a QS or Senior QS in civil engineering / infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts
- HNC / HND / Degree (or equivalent experience)
- CSCS card
- Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and proactive
