The Human Resource Advisor is responsible for supporting and guiding both employees and management, including providing expert guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. This role ensures compliance with employment legislation, fosters positive employee relations, and contributes to a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Advise on HR policies and procedures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Support the Recruitment Manager in uploading adverts, managing CVs, sifting applicants and arranging interviews.
- Organise an engaging onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a smooth entry into the business.
- Compliance
- Advise and support managers on performance management and absence management.
- Manage and hold accountability for compliance documentation in relation to Immigration, including sponsorship management.
- Vetting and Clearance
- Act as the first point of contact for vetting and security clearance queries.
- Administer the vetting and security clearance process.
- Ensure accurate records are held on employees' clearance levels to audit standard.
- Human Resource Administration
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Support the HR administrator with high volume administration.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Health and Wellbeing
- Maintain communication with employees absent from work to ensure engagement and support health and wellbeing initiatives.
