The Plant Apprentice will learn and develop skills in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant machinery under the guidance of experienced technicians.
This role provides hands‑on training and formal qualifications to build a career in technical services.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Responsibilities
- Assist with inspections, servicing, hire and repairs of plant equipment and tools.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Assembling machine parts and components.
- Using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Reading basic engineering drawings and diagrams.
- Measuring and checking tolerances accurately.
- Installing or removing mechanical equipment.
- Compliance
- Maintain compliance with internal Company procedures.
- System Management
- Help maintain accurate service records and job sheets.
- Learning and Development
- Learn how machinery and mechanical systems work.
- Follow training instructions from experienced fitters and supervisors.
- Develop practical engineering and fitting skills over time.
- Attend college or apprenticeship training sessions if part of the programme.
- Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
