Project Manager Fit Out in Hampshire, Totton

PROJECT MANAGER SOUTHAMPTON – 18 MONTH CONTRACT We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee an office refurbishment project in Southampton to modernise existing office space. Working within a live office environment, work is estimated to take 18 months. Work comprises of reconfiguring existing office space to open plan; removing partitions, painting and decorating and installation of HVAC etc. As this is within a live office environment, occasional weekend working will be involved. This role is full time, working 45 hours per week and the Project Manager must be based on site 5 days each week, with an earlier finish on Fridays. Duties include overseeing all aspects of the project, including; * * Overseeing all works * Materials procurement * Hiring & appointing subcontractors * Coordinating work packages * Day to day problem-solving * Subcontract management * Management of all Trades & Labour * Ensuring project delivery withing program & budget * Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities, ensuring that all on site are working to the highest safety standards * Working closely with the QS * Progress reporting/meetings * Writing & updating RAMS Qualifications; * Trades background OR HNC/HND/Degree in Building or Construction Management * CSCS * SMSTS Skills/background; * Have a previous history of delivering office refurbishment/fit-out projects * Consistently delivering projects within budget & program * Confident working in a SHEQ-led project environment * IT literate Equal Opportunities; Trant Engineering Limited is committed to equal opportunities for all and we do not discriminate on the grounds of race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, gender, disability or age
