Full timeCivilOur Energy Division is growing again, and we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with a background in the successful delivery of large Civil Engineering contracts, to join a site-based team on a large heavy civil engineering project near Chelmsford in Essex. Works comprise of RC structures, earthworks, drainage and integrating with M&E installationsThis is a large design & build project, currently in the early stages and is due for completion in 2027.Reporting to theContracts Manager, duties include but are not limited to;Responsible for project managing the design & build of a large civil engineering contractWorking closely with the SHEQ team to ensure the safe delivery of works, updating on environmental issues and ensuring qualityManaging and supporting the Site Manager and working closely with the commercial team, designers, planners and site teamsSubcontract managementClient interface; attending regular meetings with the client and reporting on design and project completion timelinesEffective monthly reporting to the Contracts ManagerTaking responsibility for the programmesQualifications/Background:Civil Engineering background (either degree qualified or by experience)A background of delivering National Grid projects would be advantageousSMSTSCSCSFirst AidAbout Us:Trant Engineering Ltd has a long history of engineering and construction excellence, delivering high quality EPC engineering and construction services throughout the UK and overseas.
