The Senior EICA Design Engineer role involves applying extensive engineering knowledge and leadership skills to manage complex projects and guide technical teams. Responsibilities include overseeing scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring compliance with standards, and promoting sustainability principles throughout the project lifecycle. The role also demands strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and represent the organization professionally.

• Independently applies extensive and diverse knowledge of EICA engineering principles and practices across broad areas of assignments and related fields.
• Modifies or extends accepted theories and practices to complete complex assignments.

• Assists upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
• Develops work plans with resource-loaded schedules, scopes, and budgets.
• Performs basic schedule analysis and assesses project risks.
• Reviews and monitors scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Leads tasks on major projects or multiple projects of moderate scope with complex features.
• Proactively implements change management practices and assesses the commercial impact of decisions.
• Supervises all staff necessary to complete assignments.
• Mentors direct reports and other engineers, providing guidance and reviewing work outputs.

• Essential Higher Education (NVQ+)
• Desirable Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline (Masters preferred).
• Incorporated/Chartered Membership of a Professional Engineering Institution
• CSCS Card or SHEA Water Qualification
• EUSR Water Hygiene Qualification

Typically 7+ years of engineering experience, including project leadership and technical oversight.
