What You\’ll Bring:
We’re looking for an Engineer – Development to join our growing team.
The focus of this role will be designing, maintaining, and programming our two tracing products. The role will ensure development aligns with department policies, procedures, and technical standards. You\’ll work on new and existing features in SQL Server and SSIS.
Day to Day You’ll Be:
- Escalate blockers to the Senior Software Developer when necessary.
- Undertake iterative development of deployable solutions.
- Develop according to agreed milestones and ensure projects meet targets.
- Adhere to technical constraints.
- Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose.
- Test your own output prior to independent testing.
- Develop against assigned tasks within estimated timescales.
- Maintain high technical standards and actively participate in project tasks following your standards.
- Investigate and resolve errors.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Design, test, and implement products or systems.
- Solve straightforward problems.
- Analyze solutions using standard procedures.
- Gain exposure to, and potentially become experienced with, various existing technologies.
