TransUnion is a major credit reference agency, offering specialist services in fraud, identity and risk management, automated decisioning and demographics. We support organisations across various sectors including finance, retail, telecommunications, utilities, gaming, government and insurance.

We’re looking for a Senior Database Analyst to join our growing team. Day to day you’ll be:

  • Utilising SQL to analyse and promptly process small, medium and large data change requests within our core database systems.
  • Generating data extracts.
  • Handling requests for these tasks from our internal, consumer and client-facing teams.
  • Performing individual and bulk data corrections to resolve consumer and client disputes.
  • Monitoring and upholding the overall integrity of our data.
  • Verifying, assessing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data.
  • Delivering data extracts and reports to various business areas.
  • Supporting data loading.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of working in a result-driven environment.
  • Actively suggesting process improvements.
  • Proficient in executing SQL queries of small, medium and large complexity.
  • Ability to write bespoke SQL scripts and stored procedures.
  • Data literate with critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Comfortable handling large datasets.
  • Capable of planning and organising workload with guidance.
