The Analytics Consulting team is expanding an end-to-end strategic advisory capability that combines industry expertise, structured problem-solving and analytics to address complex client challenges. The team works with clients to frame business problems, develop evidence-based recommendations and translate analysis into practical action plans. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Analytics Consulting and collaborates with a global team of domain and analytics specialists.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Lead defined strategic advisory engagements, framing ambiguous client challenges, developing hypotheses and translating commercial, market and analytical evidence into clear recommendations and practical action plans.
  • Frame analytical questions and define delivery approaches that align project scope, priorities and expected business outcomes.
  • Scope analytical work by identifying key tasks, dependencies, assumptions and risks, and estimate the effort, timelines and resources required for delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery of consulting engagements or major workstreams, including client communication, stakeholder alignment, project governance, scope, risk, budget and quality.
  • Review analytical approaches, assumptions, outputs and documentation for quality and consistency, escalating delivery risks, quality issues or scope challenges as appropriate.
  • Perform detailed analysis across credit risk, scorecard development, portfolio reviews, line management, segmentation, retrospective bureau data analysis and ad hoc insight generation.
  • Facilitate workshops and present analytical findings and executive-ready recommendations to technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Senior Engagement Manager on larger or more complex programmes, senior stakeholder relationships and commercial opportunities.
  • Capture project learnings, methods and reusable intellectual property to improve the consistency, efficiency and quality of analytical project delivery.
  • Coach and support analysts and consultants through project work, quality reviews and knowledge-sharing.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Strong experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, analytics consulting or data-led advisory, including experience managing client projects or major workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analytical consulting projects, manage day-to-day client engagement and maintain stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong structured problem-solving capability, including framing ambiguous challenges and developing hypothesis-led approaches.
  • Experience applying project planning, governance, scope, risk, budget and quality management disciplines to consulting delivery.
  • Clear and credible communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and producing executive-ready recommendations.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language), Python, cloud-based data platforms and data visualisation tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial services experience, ideally across banking, fintech, payments or consumer lending.
