Working closely with Sales, Product, and customer-facing teams, the team delivers specialist expertise that helps customers address complex business challenges through data-driven solutions. This position reports to the Sales Director, Consumer Markets. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.Role Overview And Core ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Specialist - Consumer Solutions, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing opportunities for TransUnion's consumer credit solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will help customers solve business challenges, improve decision-making, and achieve measurable commercial outcomes while supporting TransUnion's growth objectives.This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in consultative selling, strategic account management, and complex solution sales while working with customers across a range of industries and markets.Achieve annual revenue targets across TransUnion's client portfolio by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities that support commercial growth and financial performance.Produce compelling sales presentations, proposals, and supporting materials that effectively communicate the value and business outcomes delivered by TransUnion's Consumer Solutions portfolio.Lead and manage the full sales lifecycle for complex, high-value opportunities, coordinating specialist resources as required to achieve successful customer and commercial outcomes.Build and maintain a strong network of market contacts to understand customer challenges, competitor activity, emerging trends, and new growth opportunities.Manage strategic and high-profile customer accounts across multiple geographic markets, supporting clients with diverse and complex business requirements.Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracting activities to secure long-term customer relationships and revenue opportunities.Grow strategic accounts and prospect relationships to achieve revenue objectives, support customer success, and drive long-term business growth.Required Knowledge And ExperiencesExtensive experience in a client-facing strategic sales role, including selling complex solutions through a full sales-cycle environment.Experience selling into, or working within, regulated industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Telecommunications, Utilities, Gaming, or Gambling.Self-motivated with a strong commercial focus and accountability for managing, retaining, and growing a portfolio of customer accounts.Required Technical SkillsDemonstrated ability to manage complex sales opportunities, commercial negotiations, and contracting processes.Strong sales planning, account management, pipeline management, and forecasting capabilities.Ability to develop persuasive proposals, presentations, and business cases that support complex solution sales.Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms to manage opportunities, pipeline activity, and customer engagement.Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel occasionally to customer and TransUnion locations.Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we're happy to support your career development and growth in:Knowledge of the data, analytics, credit, or credit reporting industry.Experience working with credit bureau, decisioning, risk, identity, or fraud-related solutions.Experience collaborating across matrixed sales, product, and customer-facing organisations.Understanding of consumer credit market trends, regulatory considerations, and industry developments.As well as an excellent salary and bonus scheme or commission scheme (if joining our sales teams) our benefits package comes with:26 days annual leave and bank holidays (increasing with service)Global paid wellness days off and a bonus day off to celebrate your birthdayA generous contributory pension scheme and access to the TransUnion Employee Stock Purchase PlanPrivate health care and a variety of physical, mental and financial fitness wellbeing programmes such as access to mindfulness toolsAccess to our diversity forums and communities so you can get involved in causes close to your heartTransUnion - a place to grow:We are open to exploring training and development opportunities for the right candidate to ensure you are successful.
