This role reports to the Senior Manager, Analytics Consulting and collaborates with a global team of domain and analytics specialists.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core ResponsibilitiesLead defined strategic advisory engagements by framing ambiguous client challenges, developing hypotheses, and translating commercial, market, and analytical evidence into clear recommendations and practical action plans.Frame analytical questions and scope delivery approaches by identifying key tasks, dependencies, assumptions, risks, resource requirements, timelines, priorities, and expected business outcomes.Manage the day-to-day delivery of consulting engagements or major workstreams, including client communication, stakeholder alignment, project governance, scope, risk, budget, and quality.Review analytical approaches, assumptions, outputs, and documentation for quality and consistency, escalating delivery risks, quality issues, or scope challenges as appropriate.Perform detailed analysis across credit risk, scorecard development, portfolio reviews, credit line management, segmentation, retrospective bureau data analysis, and ad hoc insight generation.Facilitate workshops and present analytical findings and executive-ready recommendations to technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.Partner with the Senior Engagement Manager on larger or more complex programs, senior stakeholder relationships, and commercial opportunities.Capture project learnings, methods, and reusable intellectual property to improve the consistency, efficiency, and quality of analytical project delivery.Coach and support analysts and consultants through project delivery, quality reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.Required Knowledge And ExperiencesStrong experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, analytics consulting, credit risk or data-led advisory, including experience managing client projects or major workstreams.Financial services experience is strongly preferred, ideally in credit risk function in banking, fintech, payments or consumer lending.Demonstrated ability to lead analytical consulting projects, manage day-to-day client engagement, and maintain stakeholder alignment.Strong structured problem-solving capability, including the ability to frame ambiguous challenges and develop hypothesis-led approaches.Experience applying project planning, governance, scope, risk, budget, and quality-management disciplines to consulting delivery.Clear and credible communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and producing executive-ready recommendations.Required Technical Skills:Familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language), Python, cloud-based data platforms, and data visualization tools.What’s in it for you?At TransUnion you will be joining a friendly, forward thinking global business.
