What You\’ll Bring:
We’re looking for an Associate SQL Server DBA with a minimum 1-2 years’ experience to join our System Build team. This isn’t a traditional DBA role – it’s a chance to grow into a DevOps-focused database engineer, working with modern tools and practices to automate and improve how we manage our SQL Server platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the design and build of SQL Server environments (on-prem and cloud)
- Learning to automate database deployments using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy
- Helping improve performance, reliability, and security of our database platforms
- Collaborating with developers and engineers to solve real-world problems
- Getting hands-on with scripting, version control, and infrastructure-as-code
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-2 years’ experience working as a SQL Server DBA (any version)
- Comfortable writing T-SQL and working with SQL Agent jobs
- Understanding of backups, restores, and high availability
- Eager to learn DevOps tools and practices
- A proactive mindset and good communication skills
