We support organisations across a variety of sectors including finance, retail, telecommunications, utilities, gaming, government and insurance.
We’re looking for an Account Director - Lending to join our growing Fintech Account Development team. In this fast-paced role you’ll work with our wider sales team to sell complex, high value solutions and services as well as planning, facilitating complex negotiations, typically over a long sales cycle to reach long-term agreements and commitments. So, whether you’re currently a Senior Business Development Manager or Account Director looking for a new challenge this exciting role will offer a host of development opportunities as part of a growing global team.
Day to Day You’ll Be:
- Sell to Financial Services markets (Tier 1&2 customers) with existing book of business and prospecting for new business.
- Achieve an annual revenue target within the Lending sector.
- Produce professional and compelling material to support sales pitches.
- Personally lead, manage, and run the sales process, bringing in additional resource as required.
- Develop a strong personal network of contacts to continually be aware of the market, both clients and competitors, and provide valuable information back into the business.
- Manage some high-profile accounts spanning broad geographic areas, representing significant revenue, and having diverse and complex needs.
- Be a subject matter expert in an aspect of business, financial, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts.
- Negotiate and manage the contracting process between TransUnion & client organisations.
- Identify, build, and develop relationships with key stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Manage and develop the business relationships for several strategic and/or large, complex allocated accounts and prospects to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify market opportunities for new products and solutions, building a business case, and championing through the product development process.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience of working in a client facing, strategic sales role or selling complex solutions to financial services clients, preferably Direct lenders in a full cycle environment.
- Sales experience into or within a regulated environment such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Telecommunications, Utilities, Gaming/Gambling.
- Drive and enthusiasm are needed as you’ll be responsible for your own account book.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence as some occasional travel will be expected.
