Business Intelligence Analyst

What You'll Bring:

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. Day to Day You’ll Be:

• Feeding requirements to the Business Intelligence development team so that the data warehouse contains the data needed to support the Business.
• Develop reports and dashboards that reduce the need of manual reporting and automate key functions.
• Use the data warehouse to bring data-driven insight into TU UK decision making.
• Present regular updates on key organizational metrics and KPIs.
• Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose.
• Peer reviews the work of colleagues.
• Help migrate users’ homegrown data visualization applications to enterprise standard.
• Adhere to department procedures and practices, including coding standards, build processes, source control and Agile development process.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports.
• Experience in integrating the dashboard with Databases.
• Firsthand Experience with Tableau is must.
• Degree level or equivalent business experience.
• Must have at least 1-year total information technology experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience using data visualization tools (CRMA, Power BI).

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Data Warehouse technologies, SQL, Alteryx, Microsoft Excel.
• Modern development practices such as Agile, source control, coding standards for example.
• Testing experience is required.
