What You'll Bring:
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. Day to Day You’ll Be:
- Feeding requirements to the Business Intelligence development team so that the data warehouse contains the data needed to support the Business.
- Develop reports and dashboards that reduce the need of manual reporting and automate key functions.
- Use the data warehouse to bring data-driven insight into TU UK decision making.
- Present regular updates on key organizational metrics and KPIs.
- Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose.
- Peer reviews the work of colleagues.
- Help migrate users’ homegrown data visualization applications to enterprise standard.
- Adhere to department procedures and practices, including coding standards, build processes, source control and Agile development process.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports.
- Experience in integrating the dashboard with Databases.
- Firsthand Experience with Tableau is must.
- Degree level or equivalent business experience.
- Must have at least 1-year total information technology experience.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience using data visualization tools (CRMA, Power BI).
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse technologies, SQL, Alteryx, Microsoft Excel.
- Modern development practices such as Agile, source control, coding standards for example.
- Testing experience is required.
