TransUnion is a major credit reference agency that provides specialist services in fraud, identity, risk management, automated decisioning and demographics. We support a range of sectors including finance, retail, telecommunications, utilities, gaming, government and insurance. We are looking for a Customer Relations Advisor to join our Consumer Relations team.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a caseload of consumer complaints, working with internal and external customers to bring complaints to a mutually agreeable close. Escalate complaints when necessary.
- Support compiling information for consumer Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR).
- Ensure quality assurance and accurate management information reporting.
- Review potential complaints catalogued in the system by Customer Services, determining whether they need to be processed as complaints or returned to the customer services queue.
- Participate in front‑line queries one day per week, handling consumer and client inquiries.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in complaints, redress or customer services (phone, web chat or email).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with the consumer and guide conversations.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritise tasks and adapt to sudden changes.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience dealing with financial services complaints and liaising with the ICO and/or Financial Ombudsman Service.

Working Pattern
This position follows a hybrid model, with 40% of the week spent at an office site. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance. Flexible working arrangements are considered.
