Leeds & York Partnership NHS Trust are seeking to recruit a Domestic Assistant, on a part time basis, to join our Facilities team in providing five star cleaning services at Clifton House. Facilities are a progressive and forward thinking department looking for a self‑motivated Domestic Assistant.
Main duties of the job
You will join a domestic team ensuring a clean environment in line with the Cleaning Standards for our service users, colleagues and visitors. You would be required to work 5 days a week, which includes working some Bank holidays. The hours vary but are between 07:00 - 19:00 according to rota. We have two positions available at our site in York, Clifton House. One is for 20 hours per week, the second is for 17.5 hours per week.

Job responsibilities
The post holder is responsible for providing a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within Clinical/Non‑Clinical departments, alone or as part of a team. The Soft FM service is provided as part of the wider Estates and Facilities Directorate. The domestic Assistant works as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of cleaning in areas of high activity with frequent change. Staff must be flexible, adaptable and work to support other staff, who have clinical responsibility to service users.

- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of C.O.S.H.H., health and safety and cleaning standards
- Experience: Ability to work to set cleaning schedules, Use of cleaning equipment and materials provided for the job, Working as part of a team
