OverviewLeeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to work within the Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS), with a focus on the CAU and Police Pathways Service. The post is based at the Becklin Centre, Leeds, delivering clinical work alongside the CAU, Section 136 Suite, and Street Triage teams. This permanent role (fixed-term 12-month applications also welcome) offers an opportunity to contribute to care for working-age adults experiencing acute mental health challenges.ResponsibilitiesProvide medical leadership and input to the CAU and Police Pathways services within CRISS.Collaborate with three Consultant Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.Contribute to crisis resolution services, including Section 136 assessments, brief CAU admissions, and support of the Street Triage Team.Deliver the majority of clinical work from the Becklin Centre hub, coordinating with CAU, Section 136 Suite, and Street Triage teams.Support the CRISS service model and ensure alignment with Core Fidelity Standards for Crisis Resolution services.Location & ContractLocation: Crisis Assessment Unit & Police Pathways Service (S136 Suite & Street Triage), Becklin Centre, Leeds.Contract: Permanent (Fixed-term 12-month applications also welcome).About CRISSCRISS provides rapid assessment and intensive support for adults with acute mental health issues, with a design aligned to the Core Fidelity Standards developed by University College London and the Royal College of Psychiatrists.About the TrustLYPFT is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds, with teaching links to local universities and a focus on teaching, research and development.BenefitsComprehensive benefits packageRelocation package up to £8,000Commitment to development, professional growth, and career progressionNHS Pension Scheme, flexible working, and other employee wellbeing supportsVisa & SponsorshipApplicants should note that the Trust provides sponsorship for registered healthcare practitioner roles only (not Healthcare Support Workers).
