We are hiring a Social Media Intern to support Transreport’s social media and content activity, with a primary focus on engaging consumer audiences through Instagram. The role will also support LinkedIn and other B2B social media activities, though these will form a smaller part of the internship. This is a hands-on role suited to someone creative, organised and interested in inclusive transport, accessibility, digital content and brand storytelling.
The intern will support day to day social media planning, content creation, copywriting, scheduling and multimedia asset creation across Transreport and Passenger Assistance channels. They will help develop editorial calendars, write post copy, create visual and multimedia content, schedule posts, support the creation and distribution of B2C newsletters, and maintain consistent communications across business and customer audiences.
Strategic Context
Transreport exists to remove structural barriers in rail travel. Our vision is that everyone has access to travel everywhere. As a Series A technology company and recipient of a King’s Award, we operate across the UK, Japan and the EU, delivering award-winning accessibility and safety platforms that have supported over 10 million assistance requests for more than 1.8 million users. As our social media and content activity continues to grow, we are looking to expand our capacity to deliver consistent, high-quality output across our channels.
