Accessible rail travel depends on systems that work reliably in live environments. Our Passenger Assistance platform turns passenger assistance requests into coordinated action inside live rail operations. We are expanding our Product team and looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a high-impact, technically complex portfolio at the heart of our Passenger Assist platform.

You will be the strategic product lead for our enterprise operational platform and customer-facing applications, responsible for managing a complex array of products across multiple large rail operator clients. You'll balance B2C passenger experience with B2B enterprise constraints, navigating competing roadmaps, client-specific demands, and long-term platform scalability. This is a role that requires strategic conviction, architectural discipline, and the confidence to hold the line on product decisions under pressure.

Strategic Context

Transreport exists to remove structural barriers in rail travel. Our vision is that everyone has access to travel everywhere. As a Series A technology company and recipient of a King's Award, we operate across the UK, Japan and the EU, delivering award-winning accessibility and safety platforms that have supported over 10 million assistance requests for more than 1 million users. With increasing product complexity and multi-market expansion, we are hiring to ensure sustainable, scalable growth without compromising platform consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Client Platform Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop roadmaps that balance individual client needs with platform-wide improvements. Synthesise diverse and often conflicting requirements from multiple clients (transport operators, government bodies and passengers) into a coherent product vision. Make difficult prioritisation decisions, clearly articulating trade-offs and rationale to stakeholders. Identify patterns across client requests to build scalable features that solve multiple use cases rather than bespoke solutions.

Communicate proactively with Engineering, Commercial, Client Success and senior leadership, surfacing risks and decisions before they become blockers. Build trust with clients while maintaining clear boundaries around product direction and architectural principles. Distinguish between client-specific pain points and systemic platform issues requiring fundamental change.
