The Role
We are looking for an Onsite IT Support Technician to provide 1st and 2nd line deskside support at our client's Grantham headquarters. You will be the go-to person for resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth IT operations for their staff and working to defined service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows 11 , Office 365 , and network connectivity.
- Manage Active Directory and Azure AD tasks (password resets, account setups).
- Perform hardware repairs, imaging, and device builds.
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to maintain service levels and deliver projects.
- 1–2 years' experience in deskside or onsite IT support.
- A strong knowledge of Windows OS , Office 365 , and basic networking (TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD .
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and imaging.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MCP .
- Experience of working with ITIL frameworks.
- Knowledge of endpoint security tools (e.g., Defender ATP).
