Engineering Manager Eastbourne, East Sussex

A vacancy has arisen at Stagecoach South East for an Engineering Manager, based at Eastbourne depot, which currently operates a fleet of 56 vehicles, with 22 engineering staff.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a proven history of technical and people management skills, preferably in the PSV/HGV industry. The ability to work to the highest standards of vehicle presentation, within a cost-effective environment is essential.

A thorough knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures, DVSA standards, and health, safety & environmental legislation is required. The ability to motivate and show strong leadership qualities to the engineering support staff is also essential.

You should be computer literate, hold an appropriate professional engineering qualification with supervisory/management experience, preferably gained in an engineering maintenance environment, together with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
