We are recruiting an Advanced Engineer to join our Engineering team, working a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off (with voluntary overtime available) or 5‑day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair and maintain our buses.
- Investigate and diagnose mechanical and electronic faults.
- Record faults and work completed using a tablet.
- Follow safety instructions and report any issues.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- At least an NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or HGVs (or an equivalent international qualification).
- Current IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician or advanced technician; training will be provided if not held.
- PCV licence desirable but not essential; we will train you to drive our buses.
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and service manuals.
- Know how to use fleet management technical computer systems.
- Team‑oriented, working well with colleagues or across departments.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly (e.g., relocating to a different depot or taking a different shift).
- Willful to take any training requested by the service manager.
- Use initiative to work independently.
- Safety conscious in all tasks.
