Description
The core role will be working as a Rail Replacement Coordinator across the GTR network, during times of disruption and pre‑planned work. In this role you may also assist our special events teams.
Key Responsibilities
We expect you to be customer focused in everything you do, ensuring we provide a fantastic experience for people travelling with us. Even when services are not running smoothly, you will keep customers informed throughout their journey.
Some duties may be of a safety‑critical nature and will require a safety‑critical medical assessment. You will be trained to carry out all aspects of the role, including managing situations during disruptions, ensuring buses and trains run on time, making announcements, carrying out appropriate safety duties, and assisting with customer service and revenue collection. Classroom and depot‑based training will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain smooth and safe services.
