Description
Are you highly organised, proactive, and motivated by delivering exceptional transport operations? Transport UK Rail Replacement (TUKRR) is looking for a Duty Manager to join our regional team supporting the Greater Anglia network. This is a key role at the heart of our rail replacement service—helping to plan, deliver and oversee both scheduled and emergency transport operations that keep passengers moving when rail services are disrupted.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and allocate predefined schedules using our BRAS system.
- Build strong relationships with bus and coach operators to secure required vehicles.
- Arrange coordinator cover and maintain all required daily documentation.
- Support both pre-planned and emergency operations, including participation in the 24-hour emergency rota.
- Produce preliminary accident/incident documentation in line with TUKRR processes.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to all policies, legal requirements, and compliance standards (including GDPR and QSHE).
- Work with the Senior Management Team to support pricing, commercial modelling and strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and operational challenges and propose solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team development in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in the events or transport sector.
- A driven, self-starting individual with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships.
- A confident user of Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
- Someone who can challenge professionally, think commercially, and drive value.
- A team player genuinely committed to delivering high-quality operations.
Personal Requirements
- Flexibility to travel to other TUK sites as needed.
- Ability to work varied hours, this post will be 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.
- Full UK driving licence.
