Role responsibilities The Marketing Officer will increase the awareness and usage of Transport for Wales (TfW) services, primarily focussing on bus services, through support and coordination of digital and traditional marketing and communications. Assist the Marketing Manager (Campaigns – Bus) where required by supporting with the planning, design and implementation of any marketing plans and associated campaigns, literature and promotional initiatives for TrawsCymru, fflecsi and any other related TfW projects to ensure successful delivery of campaigns to market.

Support the Marketing Manager (Campaigns – Bus) by interpreting data and gathering information to plan and deliver marketing activities and campaigns to the target audience in the most efficient way. Assist the Marketing Managers by providing content support in the writing of social media, internal communications, email and web content aligned to marketing campaigns to support in the delivery of campaigns to market across channels. Working with Marketing Managers and other key internal and external stakeholders where applicable, to deliver marketing campaigns, activities and activations to promote services, products and offers across different modes of transport, as well as multimodal journeys.

Represent the marketing team in regular TrawsCymru meetings, by discussing upcoming Marketing and Communications activity and opportunities, or issues identified, to ensure the whole TrawsCymru team are aware of what is upcoming, as well as lessons learnt. Who we\\\\\\'re looking for Experience of working within the Communications sector, with experience in at least one marketing role. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Good IT skills and proficiency in MS Office. Demonstrable written skills and able to adapt style to different channels e.g website and social media. Welsh Language Skills The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
