Role responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategic planning and implementation of Transport for Wales (TfW) brand and brand response campaigns, delivering impactful integrated campaigns that grow our market share through increased journeys and modal shift.
  • Accountable for the strategic development of impactful and distinctive multi-channel and full-funnel Brand campaigns, by working with Transport for Wales (TfW) brand campaign agency to deliver step-change demand for the brand to achieve brand KPIs and revenue targets across all modes.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Director through the development and delivery of brand campaigns that achieve our revenue targets and growth KPIs to deliver the overarching marketing strategy.
  • Lead a team to build distinctive ownable assets across all formats and channels by shaping and directing external agency partnerships and internal content teams to fast-track best-in-class campaigns and content that meet business objectives and drive revenue.
  • Coach and guide the Brand Manager to establish an internal design studio to include copywriting that will streamline the marketing briefing process, increase consistency of output and drive down agency costs.

Who we're looking for

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification in brand/marketing and/or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in brand strategy, rebranding and migration.
  • A deep understanding of brand development, creative strategy, and customer engagement.
  • A track record of delivering impactful brand campaigns and experiences.

Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role. Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills. We fully support our people who want to improve their Welsh language skills, and personal development for Welsh Language skills are offered in a variety of ways such as online learning, classroom courses and funding attendance at local community courses.
