Role responsibilities
- Lead the Digital Finance Transformation by defining a long-term vision, prioritising initiatives, and aligning objectives with the organisation’s strategic goals and financial targets.
- Develop compelling business cases for investment in digital technology systems and change, articulating value, potential cost savings, and efficiency gains.
- Manage the finance transformation programme by defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources; oversee integration and optimisation of digital finance processes and systems; ensure a successful handover to the business.
- Lead the development and implementation of digital finance governance frameworks, including steering committees and programme reports to ensure compliance, oversight, and accountability.
- Develop and maintain digital risk management strategies, identify and mitigate programme financial and governance risks, and manage dependencies between projects.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience in leading digital financial governance and control functions within a complex, regulated environment.
- Ability to analyse, develop, and implement digital business processes and best-practice frameworks for efficient financial and governance operations.
- High proficiency in digital financial management, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of digital financial systems integration, preferably within Dynamics 365 Finance Operations ERP or similar environments.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh is welcome but not essential for this role. We support Welsh language development through online learning, classroom courses, and funding for community courses.
