Job Overview

Join Transport for Wales as a Delivery Manager (Bus Fleet and Depot). This role involves managing the delivery of projects and initiatives supporting the Welsh Government Bus Franchising.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering bus fleet and depot projects, undertaking delivery activities, and advancing development and implementation of TfW’s Depot Location and Decarbonisation strategies.

  • Deliver bus fleet and depot projects using robust project lifecycle methodologies.
  • Undertake delivery activities, including data analysis and contributing to strategy and business case development.
  • Advance development and implementation of TfW’s Depot Location and Decarbonisation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets and liaise with the Finance Business Partner as needed.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with demonstrable experience managing transport projects for the public sector, a project management qualification, and experience with project management documentation and successful project delivery.

  • Previous experience managing transport projects for the public sector.
  • Project management qualification (e.g., APM, PRINCE or similar).
  • Experience with project management documentation and successful project delivery.
