Role responsibilities
As a Customer Operations Implementation Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our station infrastructure. Reporting to the Customer Operations Implementation Manager, you’ll lead planning, coordination, and execution of improvement works across our station network. You will also deputise for the Implementation Manager when required, ensuring continuity and leadership across strategic and operational initiatives.
- Lead scoping activities for future programmes, aligning with ongoing network activities.
- Ensure data is captured and integrated into the Integrated Stations Plan to drive efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate insights and automate reporting processes.
- Support the Station Infrastructure Team as a superuser of the Project Reporting Hub.
- Assist in developing station improvement programmes.
- Maintain a central database of projects, ensuring readiness for activation.
- Write compelling business cases to secure funding for future schemes.
- Lead reviews of station design toolkit, capturing stakeholder requirements.
- Manage documentation control in line with ISO standards, using platforms like Frontify.
- Ensure all guidance, process, and specification documents are current and accessible.
Who we’re looking for
- Strong experience with Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Proven ability in data analytics, reporting, and process governance.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and understanding of internal processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in project scoping, PMO, and business case development.
Welsh Language Skills
While speaking or writing Welsh is not essential, it would be a valuable addition. Transport for Wales encourages and supports Welsh language development through various training and community courses.
