Role responsibilities
Role responsibilities
The Commercial Propositions Manager will manage the formulation and adherence to effective reporting and governance for the delivery of initiatives aimed at growing patronage and revenue on the Wales and Borders network.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Manage the development and delivery of an effective and forward-looking growth strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and developing and implementing plans to capitalise on these.
- Drive the ongoing development and delivery of an effective and forward-looking growth strategy for the Wales and Borders network.
- Manage the delivery of the Commercial Revenue Team’s business plan milestones.
- Sponsor the delivery of multiple Commercial Propositions workstreams
- Provide continuity for the delivery of the Commercial Propositions plan by deputising for the Head of Commercial Propositions.
Who we’re looking for
- Previous experience of leading the delivery of multiple complex projects.
- Previous experience of identifying and delivering revenue generation initiatives
- Commercially astute, persuasive and customer focused
- The ability to promote cross-team collaboration, with a focus on building mutually beneficial networks and improving overall service delivery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills. We fully support our people who want to improve their Welsh language skills, and personal development for Welsh Language skills are offered in a variety of ways such as online learning, classroom courses and funding attendance at local community courses.
