About the role
The Technical Management Officer supports the Highway team in carrying out statutory duties to coordinate and manage works by the Council, its agents, utility companies, developers, and Transport Authorities.
As part of the highway licensing team, you will manage and administer license & permit application processes for activities on the adopted highway network. You will attend pre-construction site meetings and conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specifications.
The role involves liaising with Council Officers, especially the Street Works Team, Planning, and Traffic Officers, as well as the public, often outside during site meetings.
